About Me

Hello my name is Amie and i am 17. I  live in Derbyshire, and i love horses, and love riding. My best part of riding is Show Jumping. When i am older i would love to become a Professional Show Jumper. I am training at Woodbecker Stables to become a Horse Riding Instructor.

My Pets

I own 1 rabbit called Sky, and she is a lop eared rabbit. and i also own a cat called ginger, and she is a Norwegian Forest Cat.

Horse Riding

I have been riding for 6 years now. I first started learning to ride at a riding school. The first riding school i went to was St.Lenords. But i did not enjoy it there, so i moved to a riding school called Breaston Equestrian Centre. and that was the best riding school i have ever been to. When i first started riding there, i was put in a group called the Standard Level, there i learnt how trot, canter, jump. and then moved up groups, and eventually i got to the Intermediate level. This was where i was doing transistions, contact, jumping courses. I learnt a whole lot at this riding school, i did have to leave the riding school half way through, as i was brought my own horse. ( if you would like to read more about her then please go to my horses page) I do still have riding lessons on my horse amber. Amber has been such a great horse, and i love her to bits. We went to our first show season this year and did very well. We did the show jumping classes and got a 1st, 3rd and 4th place. and lots of clear rounds,We have once a week riding lessons from my yard owner Lauren Jolie. she says we both are improving every time she see's us.
